dude. it's tuesday
It feels a bit strange. When I graduated school I got an actual title, I could call myself something, even though I wasn’t sure about what I had actually learned. Now I have a job and can actually say that I work somewhere. It feels very weird, and very cool.
Oh, I also found five bucks on the sidewalk today so I went right ahead and bought the new issue of GQ.

Office Xmas Party
On saturday I had planned on going out shopping for Christmas presents, which turned into me looking for a new cologne and buying another one of those lovely shirts from Brothers. This time I got a fabulous light blue one with french cuffs and white fabric cufflinks. When I was about to pay for it I noticed a small stain on it so I got 5% off since they didn’t have another one in my size. When I got home I got the stain out.
In the evening me and the gang went out partying. Me, Martin, Marcus and Kia and Ove all headed over to Fontana. Kia insisted that I meet a friend of hers that I actually met at the Halloween party but she hadn’t seen me without makeup and clown clothes. Women apparently like playing match maker so Kia was excited about the whole thing. I always find these kind of set up situations a bit awkward. at best.

I just got a call from the local newspaper. Apparently they are not sure if the pictures they took for the article I’m going to be in are suitable. It’s not that they aren’t good, it’s that they might be a bit too “porno” for the paper. The chick who called said that she was going to discuss it with the editors but she thought it would be best to have a picture with my shirt on, perhaps in a gym environment.
Maybe she has a point though. All the grannies would probably be shocked and die if they saw some young dude with no shirt on. Hell, I might cause an oldie-massacre or something. I was quite curious as to what kind of reactions I’d get though. Now I’ll have to crunch the numbers and try to make time for an extra photo shoot.

I hate beta
This weekend I went out two times, on friday and saturday. Out of the two, friday turned out to be the best night. A band played at Fontana so I decided to go, even though I wasn’t really a fan. When I got there the place was pretty empty and I started thinking that I’d go somewhere else after the show.
I’ve had a really long dry spell when it comes to women lately. It’s not just that I haven’t porked anyone in a while. I haven’t even met anyone really interesting or asked anyone out in months. In october I came up with the idea that I’d ask someone out each month but that hasn’t really worked out.

On Saturday I decided to do something different and go to Giggling Marlin. My brother in arms was out of action due to a cold so I thought it would be an appropriate night for it, since Martin is hesitant of going to places were there are mostly Finns.
On Sunday as I was heading back to town I got the idea that I’d go see Saw3. I’d been waiting for it to premier and it was a suitable night so I headed over to the movies again. It was better than Borat, that’s for sure. However, you really have to have seen the two first movies to be able to follow the plot fully.

I'm a 26-year old engineer living in Vasa Finland. I recently graduated. I usually like to spend my saturday nights in a bar or club just having a good time.
